Not much really, we got our first frost Satuday night. How about there?
Did you not see the post where I said we are keeping her over winter and are going to breed her in the spring?? Besides takes longer than a few days to get your pig back from the butcher. I think we're going to have some of the two that are in the freezer.
Nah, you see you keep two breeder sows and then you have bacon galore!!!!

We got some snow the other day and the temperature is dropping pretty quick so I had to break out my heated base to keep the water from freezing and I'm trying really hard to get my hen to grow all her feathers back before it gets too cold and my Olive Egger layed her first egg today

My poor hen Feathers lived in our basement for two-ish weeks last year because she decided to molt in December. The poor girl was shivering in the coop, even with a heat lamp, so I brought her inside to regrow her feathers.
