What does one use lemon grass for?

You can use it in cooking or, my favorite part, it's also a pretty good mosquito repellant and works pretty well on those tiny flies that are out in my garden too.

And it makes a lovely ornamental. You can't tell it from the pic but it's 4 feet tall and almost as wide with about 50 or 60 stalks in the center, and that's just this year's growth from one stalk that I divided this spring.
