I have one EE that is almost entirely Ameraucana (her legs and eyes aren't proper), but her egg production is bad.
That's cool.Most of my EEs lay Blue, one lays brown, my other Australorp and barred rock mixes (probably part game too) lay brown.

Wow.When I had ducks, they didn't lay much, so the hens must be laying even less.
That's not a great laying rate for the hens. That's incredibly good for the duck, though.In the summer we averaged 8 eggs a day, we were reliably getting 5 or 6 eggs a day from the ducks, we're down to two or three eggs from the chickens and 3 eggs from the ducks.

Exactly. I'd say my ducks laid one egg per female every 2-3 days.Yeah, not at all.
Indeed, especially since they're not a breed that usually kept for eggs.
