So my blue pullet's pubic bones are at almost 2 fingers wide! Maybe it won't be too long now before she lays an egg On a side note the other EE pullet we bought with her is molting, she's lost nearly all her neck feathers

That's good. I feel ya there! I'm stressed about the election, really I just want to go and hide

Yeah! In my (very) limited experience they usually start when their pubic bones are between 2 to 2 1/2 fingers wide, a lot of people say they start when they're three fingers wide but I only have one hen who's three fingers wide (and she lays extra jumbos) The others are mostly about 2 1/2 so we shall see.
