Yep. And since my guess is Chester carries one beard gene and one beardless gene breeding to none bearded females "should" result in about 50/50

If however I'm wrong and he carries 2 beard genes then if I'm not mistaken most if not all of his offspring will have beards.

Yep! I don't think Barney will throw any bearded offspring unless he mates with a bearded hen but none of our bearded hens are laying at the moment.

Well Stella is a year and a half and molting, the other is a year but I don't actually know if I've ever gotten an egg from her......

That's my plan. She's one of my best layers, she also lays the largest eggs weighing in at 85 grams which is about 20 grams heavier than anyone else's eggs.
