He's beautiful! I've been trying to figure out why your duckling doesn't have a crest... Do you know if the gene is recessive or dominant?

What they say about the lethal gene is cool... That happens in Dwarf rabbits (which i breed) also.. but not with crests of course!

Yeah! He may be small but he'll beat up any of my full size drakes.

I know a lot about the gene. I Believe it's subdominant, if you breed a crested to a none crested you'll get 50/50, if you breed a crested to a crested it's something like 50% die from double crested 25% are crested and 25% are none crested.
