When I returned to BYC and started going on at night, I sorta freaked out when I saw Mom's inbox go nuts. Luckily I found that out on the first day, even before she woke up, and I went nuts trying to unsub before she woke up.
In truth, I forget how, but Im gonna go scroll through the assistance forums right now and find out how for you.

At the bottom of the thread you will see a row of four buttons..."Unread Post", "Subscribed", "Search this Thread", and "Preferences". Click on "Subscribed". This will bring up a window with a small drop-down menu. Click on the black arrow and it should give you the option of "Site Only (no email)"...select that choice and then click on "Submit". Once selected you'll be notified of new replies to subscribed threads when you log onto the forum but you will no longer receive an email notification.
You also need to click on your username in the upper right corner and then click on 'preferences' in the drop down list.
Then change notifications and e-mail preferences as you wish.

That's for desktop?..... Cuz I sure hope that dad didn't turn of my WiFi yet if it is
 
Yeah, even though you can switch to Desktop mode on a phone/mobile device, it goes all glitchy and I'd bet you'd end up getting twice as many emails instead of unsubbing if ya tried on a phone...
