My dad ideally wants to raise them like that, but we'll probably have an area where they can pasture, and give them turns in hutches or something. I'd like to see pics!! Thanks.
I used to have my rabbits in a chicken tractor type thing, but they got out - digging and the fencing was weak enough for them to open it. My current doe can DIG.Thankfully she's a very good girl, and easy to catch!

My sister refused to raise them in hutches.
I didn't say the don't, they do but not too much and and not always out (though it does happen) but if they're moved every day or two then it is minimum. They usually only dig out if they are out of greens to eat. Or if they're getting close to kindle, I've had does dig 4' deep holes over night.
