I'm pretty good, excited for the school year to be over.

They've been good. Except Negrita, she's got a huge wound on the back of her head from the other chickens picking on her, and I've been trying to let her heal in the spare coop but my dad keeps letting her out after we keep telling him not too (-(. Just hoping she can heal now that I put her back.

Awww, poor girl. If you have any BlueKote you could try spray/paint it on her wound.

They do both. They were just more yippy yesterday night. If you hear yipping mixed with howls, it's coyotes, if you just hear howling, it's generally wolves.

I live in northern MN, so we have both, (we also have cougars, which have a blood-curdling, bone-chilling scream. *shivers*)
