Mountain Peeps's Chat Thread...Continued!

Good busy?

Same here. Running a farm is exhausting. Plus one of my three month old ducklings got attacked by something and by the time I noticed she had Ms crawling all over the wounds :sick She's doing much better now. Than Wednesday six of my other three month olds disappeared with out a trace. :hmm:(

Mostly good. :)

Aw, I'm glad she's better. But I'm sorry to hear about the ones you lost. :(

Good!

Yeah me too. I though I was going to have to put her down or fight a losing battle against the Ms but then someone suggested dipping her in permethrin and that worked wonders, no more Ms since. :celebrate. I've got her on antibiotics at the moment to stop infection. After she improves some more I'll probably give her some kombucha as that's a probiotic to give her a boost.

Thanks. It's pretty disheartening to go out and find your missing six ducks.

Wow! That's great! It's amazing how when you think their time is up, they can actually bounce right back to normal with the right treatment.

I bet.:hugs

@MountainPeeps have you seen my new ducks? :D
I have not.
But they are lovely!! Are you enjoying them?
