Mouth breathing, and limping

Please check her nostrils. The pics seem to show darkish nostrils, could be why she's mouth breathing. I had a big girl that ha gotten mash stuffed in her nostrils, it took a week of scraping every day to get it all out. I used blunted toothpicks. How on Earth she got that much crud up her nose is beyond me! I too hope it's not Marek's, it's on my property, I'm lucky if half of all new chicks, don't die of it before they even start laying, even vaxed.

I thought the same thing about her nostrils, but when comparing them to her hatch mate, their breed have large nostrils, but nothing in them... How did you find out you had Mareks on your property?
I truly hoping I don't!!!! This could be a difficult few months if I do.. As I have 8 more of her coop mate that were all purchased at the same time from the same place, meaning none of those are vaccinated and could now be awaiting death.

She did test positive for Mareks herpavirus 1... And now I have alot of answers

Since her whole batch was not vaccinated, its just a matter of time. I have a few 2yr olds that I raised from chicks, I dont know if they were ever vaccinated. I only know my 1yr olds are vaccinated. My poor babies and 2yr olds
