what are the odds! I watched that movie last night for the first time! Honestly, I thought it was very boring and I almost fell asleep, cute concept though. I also didn't like it because the guy that was in the coma was in American Beauty, and I hated his charecter in that. 4/10 I suppose I like comedy and action film more.

Uncle rico - you are a traitor to mankind for not giving at least 9/10 to all three Lord of the Rings movies.

Battle: Los Angeles.

Great movie. The special effects are great, but what I really liked about it was its realism. I honestly found it to be more believeable than some war movies I've seen. The aliens in the movie actually behave like you'd expect an intelligent being to. No lasers or force-fields, either, which made it even more interesting. The aliens are also given a realistic motive for attacking Earth - the water. Considering that H2O is actually an EXTREMELY rare compound in the known universe, this makes a LOT of sense. The Marines who battle the invaders use actual military tactics rather than Hollywood tactics, and none of the characters are over-the-top near-superhuman heroes. For once, the soldiers are portrayed as soldiers - people in uniforms with special training and weapons. This makes several scenes even more dramatic and emotional and the acts of heroism even more heroic. Also, the civilians play an important role as well, particularly in one of the most spectacular scenes in the movie. To top it all off, it's got a great soundtrack.

Overall, this is easily the best, and certainly the most believeable, alien invasion film I've ever seen. I will NOT give it a number rating, however. The degree to which you'll enjoy the movie depends on what you enjoy the most in movies of a similar genre. If you even remotely enjoyed Independence Day, though, you'll love Battle: Los Angeles.

I loved The Green Mile, definite 10/10. Also Forrest Gump, almost any movie with Tom Hanks in it. That guy's amazing! Watched The Lovely Bones recently, disappointing after reading the book first. District 9 was really good. I grew up in S.A... Not picking sides, but they did a great job with that one.

I loved the second hangover! I saw it the 2nd day it was out. Its the same thing as the 1st one, just in thailand. You could mirror everything. Stole a baby= stole a monk. Took a tiger= took a drug dealing monkey. Lost Doug=lost Teddy. There are many other example but you get the point. Everyone is giving it bad reviews because it's the same. But I think people are forgetting how funny and awesome the 1st One was. So if the second one is as good as the 1st, it should be awesome, and was. There were some parts in the second one that was funnier than some of the 1st.

If you only read this one line, watch it it's amazing!

I haven't been able to see a movie I reaaallylyyyy wanted to see.... I am number 4... thoughts about that movie???
