Movies that make you cry?

I cried at the very first movie I ever saw and it was in school (ok, it was headstart) - The Ugly Duckling.

I felt so bad for that little swan - everyone was horrible to him and he spent the winter alone n cold, I cried so hard I could not talk.

They called my mom to come get me.

They could not explain to her what happened - I was fine when the lights went out for the movie.

I also cried when I saw Dumbo - when his mom was in jail, her trunk hanging out tween the bars and rocking baby Dumbo.

I cried at the drive in when we saw Where the Red Fern Grows

hmmmmm...........might explain why I am not a huge movie fan

Saw a few mentions of The Titanic. I'm sorry, but I just hated that movie. Okay, I didn't HATE it, but it certainly didn't make me cry. It was so glorified and 'Hollywood' that it was more annoying than anything. The band playing as the ship sunk..... yeah, right. Sorry, I don't mean any disrespect to those who were moved by it, but I found it way too long and I think the real victims of that ship would roll over in their watery graves if they saw what James Cameron did to their experience. It wasn't a love story for God's sake, it was a gruesome accident.

We just watched "Where the red fern grows" last night and cried quite a bit.
I never cried so much in any movie as I did in "Black Beauty"(the more modern version). I was watching it with the kids and teared up/cried through the whole thing. It was painful to watch. Felt so awful after all the bawling I swore I'd never see that movie again and got rid of it.

now that one was just funny.

Oh thanks - sorry to Eric Stoltz, not Roberts. Ya know, I even forgot Sam Elliot was in the movie, it's been so long since I saw it, and I looove Sam Elliot - who doesn't. You own the movie so when you feel like having a good cry you just glance at the cd on the shelf and burst into tears?
Yes the jive talking blue haired old lady in Airplane was classic.
