Awww! I’d love to see pics of all those sometime! . Also, hopefully this won’t be my first and last batch of quails-I’m falling in love with raising them pretty darn quick!

Best thing you can do imo is learn to eat em. If you can do that? I kno i can raise as many as i want sell the pullets and eat the unwanted boys leads to constant ability to hatch

It's good you finally know what you have. They are 100% Japanese (coturnix). Japanese (coturnix) are a great quail to raise and I would recommend them for fist time quail owners. It's a shame you paid more for them though. I bought four female japanese quails recently, paid extra for them, three turned out to be males. So I am currently trying to figure out housing for all my boys (culling is not an option for me). Good luck and happy quail raising!
