I know this gets asked a million times and I think I've read them all! But here in Fl, it's hot, already! Like mid 80's and high 60's at night. I'm worried about them being too hot.
My chicks are about 2 weeks old, Red Sex links, 6 of them. I have an enclosed coop, predator proof, and was thinking about moving them outdoors. Is it too soon? I have cardboard on the bottom with pine shavings to keep any underneath drafts out and the sides are pretty well covered, too.
They've been warm during the days, so I've had the lamp off and turn it on at night.
What do you think? Too soon? I am home all day, so can keep an eye on them and make changes if necessary.
Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated
