Hi Scott,

I'm located not too far from you in NH just the other side of Nashua. Hope all goes well with your move. Brookline is a nice area. Use to live next door in Pepperell, MA.

We have, a variety, of 9 Orpington hens, 1 Orpington rooster, and 6 (3 week old) baby Astralorps at the moment. Just got in 6 Cayuga and 6 White layer ducks who are residing with the chicks in my family room.

In Pepperell we raised RI Reds who were much more aggressive then our current breeds.

What are you raising? Are you going to free range? Would be really nice to have someone doing the same thing close by.

Our biggest problem in Pepperell were the raccoons. Here it is the hawks which have killed two of our chickens. We're working with Fish & Game who is very helpful in NH. Do not be afraid to contact them if you have a predator issue - they are really good.
