Here is a close up of the barred one. This when they were younger before the sickle feathers started growing out. I ended up with four of them! They are kind of cool looking, but I guess they will be going to the freezer soon along with the other ten that look like the one in the first picture. Oh, and one of the brown and black barred rocks is a rooster too, so he will also be dinner fare before long.

O boy, you have had some tough chicken luck this spring. I have seen you over on the sussex thread and I hope that project is going better for you. don't give up, it's all learning as we go. I think some of this is TSC workers carelessness. they just don't care if you get what you want, as long as they get gid of the chicks, and don't have to care for them any more.
