I think Friday is the best day. But you are right you really get the deals Saturday afternoon! Last year I got a pair of BLRW for $6!!! For BOTH! They also have other stuff there. Almost like a flea market. Never know what you will find.

There has only been one swap that I was really disappointed with and that was the Farmerstown last fall. It rained and there was no one there. I did get a super cute Mille Fluer hen for $5. Other than that time I have always LOVED the swaps! I can not wait for this weekend. I will have lots to bring!

Yes! There is always lots!

I got to see King Pigeons for the first time in Farmerstown. OMGoodness! They are HUGE! They also have homers and some that have fancy tails, some that have feathered legs, some have this almost flipped up collar look.

And those are just the ones I remember.

You guys are so lucky to live so close to Mt Hope.I've heard great things about that swap and always wanted to go,but I am in N.H.and it is just out of the question.
Do any of you know anyone that raises grey peacock pheasants?I know there are some at the swap,but like I said I can't make it and I really need a hen.

Tony I have seen the peacock pheasants at the exotic sale, they went for a lot of money. I do not know who bought them. I don't know anyone who breeds them. Sorry. I will keep an ear out for you though.
