Mudbath?

OK, so it's raining for the first time in weeks. Our 2 hens have decided to take this opportunity to have a dustbath, but their dustbath is mud at the moment. So they are out there rolling around in the mud - ugh. They're filthy!

Should I go and chase them in out of the rain? Are they gonna clean that mud off themselves when it dries?

my 5 hens do that alot, i just leave them to it and they seem to clean themselves.

I personally hate it when my chickens get all wet and muddy but they seem to love the rain. My polish look soo pathetic when their head gets all wet haha. But they like it so I let them do it. They clean themselves off when they dry.
