Waldo (my lone pheasant chick) decided to jump out of the brooder box today and do a little free-ranging we returned him safely and I removed the heat plate to deter a repeat performance

When we ventured out to feed today, I was a bit concerned because the poults and other critters came running but the ducks were nowhere in sight. Their pond filled up a bit during the rain overnight and they were content swimming until I took the feed to them

Mr muddy is having digging withdrawals…..we dropped his tractor off for first service on Monday and they haven’t called him to pick it up yet

We had a PKG delivery to the mailbox today so I decided to ride the monkey down to pick it up. I got skipper to race me back to the house and give me some llama lovin' over the fence. I decided to grab some stuff from the shop and when I opened the door, 3 not so little piggies had managed to push open the back door and were exploring near my feed bags. I closed the door and grabbed Mr Muddy just in case I had trouble herding them back outside but they were little and happily went back out to play as soon as I opened the door. We locked it this time

Worked a couple hours this morning at the office then picked up Mr Muddy's tractor (that they hadn't gotten to for service ) and he resumes digging as soon as we got home.

Tried to hook up the ice maker on the shop fridge yesterday and a pipe under the sink broke so we have no water in the shop until my contractor friend has time to drop by and fix it. It's been a real pain today trying to get water out to the piggies. And we had to rework/clean their fence because the electric wasn't working properly.

We worked another 8 hours today
We finished tearing out the piece of chain link to nowhere, expanded and ran 2 wire electric for IPPs, dug a trench/hog wallow, started our final burn in the current burn pile, hung the sail by the pool, and smoked meat for dinner tonight and future dinners/cookouts. We also did a test run of the karaoke in the new club muddy for tomorrow!

Despite moving a little slower because of taking off most of yesterday, we've made some more progress today. Mr Muddy extended the creek to drain the pond into a hog pond for the IPPS, and filled in the fire pit. The water line in the shop is being repaired and the ice maker hooked up. We moved the little red coop and moved the birds out of the shop run and I gathered the duck eggs to put in the incubator because we're moving that shelter to Kuneville.
