I need help from all the chicken experts.....I have 4 bantams from the assorted bin at RK and I'm relatively sure it's 2 cockerels and 2 pullets but not sure of breeds. And of course they're not the white ones

Pretty sure the cochin and D'uccle are male and the other two are female

I thought the Buff Brahma and the D’uccle were both the same breed
My other 8 in the brooder are mottled and black frizzle BC…..they’re only 3 weeks old but looking like at least half are cockerels too

Despite moving a little slower because of taking off most of yesterday, we've made some more progress today. Mr Muddy extended the creek to drain the pond into a hog pond for the IPPS, and filled in the fire pit. The water line in the shop is being repaired and the ice maker hooked up. We moved the little red coop and moved the birds out of the shop run and I gathered the duck eggs to put in the incubator because we're moving that shelter to Kuneville.

We went back out after a dinner break, assembled the tiller and tilled the pumpkin/turnip patch until 10pm so it ended up being another 6-8 hours outside working today.
I also made a low carb cheesecake fluff for dessert!

D'uccle has the single comb, the brahma is a pea comb

I'm spending my birthday watching Mr Muddy dig! It's been a slow process but it's starting to look like a pond!
