Horse stepping on your toes isn't any fun.

Trusted a horse too far one time. Set his hoof on my knee while trimming it. He decided that would be a good stepping place and put his full weight on it as he stood up on my knee.

My 25 meatie chicks arrived this morning! One didn’t make it I took a photo to report it to the hatchery, but when I counted that one was an extra

Ive finally convinced mr muddy (because he thinks it was his idea ) to let me order rangers next so we can hopefully start hatching our own meaties

If you can find anyone with Asian blacks or 1st generation mixed males, I highly, highly, highly recommend those. Hoovers discontinued them sadly, but I love my male and his sons.

Mr Muddy finished the service on his tractor and got back to digging (a small wallow pond in kuneyville so we can measure and get a liner)
I grabbed some totes to seal up my feed to try and keep flies out of it and now scrubbing out the chain link run that I’ve been brooding birds in.

Got the run 90% mucked and then helped mr muddy get sod separated to finish the pond dig. Did the evening feeding and now enjoying a (first one since last weekend ) before we go get cleaned up and start dinner.

Finished cleaning the shop run, did some weeding, pool maintenance, feeding, and lots of fence maintenance today in nearly 100* heat index……over 20K steps so far! I’m a little tired. Mr muddy helped me a little bit and worked on the pond. He popped a stitch so I’ve got to do some work on his face tonight

Stormy and rainy for a few hours today so resting and catching up on inside stuffs until it passes

Managed to get feeding done just before the hard rain started, then we worked on my dryer and icemaker and hung a few more of the missing cord hider strips. I was hoping to do some cleaning but mr muddy wants to try to build a hog shelter with extra cattle panels and lumber if we have enough of the right stuff
