Muddy’s homestead expansion journey!

I just moved turkey eggs to the hatcher last evening. The neighbor's guinea eggs get moved tomorrow evening.

The first one is dry enough now that I can see that it is a Royal Purple.

The second ended up shrink wrapped. It was trying to hatch in the incubator at 38% humidity. It is now in a cup, learning how to stand up.

Back to working on Club Muddy.....I cleaned and set up my picnic/patio area yesterday and Mr muddy has started moving dirt for the pond levy areas. He's digging the pool plumbing trench now.

My ducks are free-range ducks now.....the piggies went right through the cheap wire on my acclimation run and Natasha was in my little duck pool

Got some of the deck posts set, started dinner, and pool trench is down to hand digging. Mr muddy found a gas line though so we have to dig a trench now to run a new line and we have no hot water to the house until it's done so I also have to get shop shower cleaned and set up so we can shower in the meantime

Slow getting started again this morning but feeding is done, Mr muddy is back to digging trenches and I'm working on emptying and repurposing IBC totes into hay feeders
