muffled leghorn?

What cute birds!

That's a pretty savvy breeder that you bought from! I'll have to remember that when I start breeding myself: if a roo escapes his pen and gets in with girls he's not supposed to, make a cute name for the hybrid babies. It's kind of like Labradoodles I suppose

It'll be super interesting to see how these birds develop. Cochins are not generally good laying birds, but Leghorns are superlayers. You may get the best traits from both of the breeds, and end up with birds that lay well, but also make good mothers.

Keep posting pics of them as they grow, these are really interesting!

I have some leghorn / blue andelusian crosses that look almost exactly like those (except no feather legs)

Maybe I should call them Andelusiahorns!
