おはよう! 鳥 が すき.
I am painfully monolingual but I've learnt some Japanese through traveling and I have a basic understanding of hiragana, which I am working to improve. I found that I was able to get through most of my stay in Japan merely by knowing the words for "thank you" and "tasty."
That’s cool! I can’t read any languages that aren’t lettered like this, but it’s really cool to see.
Also I like your pfp! :)
I don’t know Italian, but “merci” is indeed French.
Ah, okay good. :)

Oh gosh.

Um— *runs*

Let me do a bit of an introduction. I don’t actually speak fluent French by any means, but I’m learning it.

Here’s a few random phrases I use regularly.

Sorry, I’m half awake so that’s all I can come up with for now. I do know much more than that! But for now, mini French lesson from Lemon!

My favorite sentence is "das is so krass," but I didn't learn it from Duo, I learned it from a streamer who speaks German, English, and Spanish.

Lemmie see if I know that in French.
Umm.. Bonjour (which I think I can say with a French accent) and Merci? (Or is that Italian?)
I know Hallo and Danke, and I know Hola and Gracias. Is 'hello' in Chinese Nee-how? Or something? I know I butchered that 😳
You got the French. Italian is bonjourno and grazie.

Mandarin (there are two languages in China, but Mandarin is the most common) is nihao and shie shie.

Here are two quotes I like.

“On ne saurait faire d'omelette sans casser des œufs." - François de Charette

"À vaincre sans péril, on triomphe sans gloire." - Pierre Conneille
You might enjoy this joke.

Descartes walks into a bar and orders a glass of wine. He finishes it, and the bartender asks, "Would you like another?"
Descarte says, "I think not," and *poof* he disappeared.

In case you're not familiar with Descarte, he's the one who said, "Je pense, donc je suis."

Ok, that made me laugh so hard!
