multiple egg laying hens

does anyone else have hens that lay multiple eggs daily, consistently? I have 8 hens (2 polish, 3 Belgian Mille Fleur d'Uccle bantams, and 3 Ameraucana) . Twice since January I have had 12 eggs in the nests from these 8 chickens. I'm told by a respected person on this blog that it's impossible that happened, but I swear it did. Has anyone else experienced multiple egg laying hens? thanks !

Everything is possible. The record number of eggs one hen has laid is 7. Could it be also possible that some eggs got laid late one day and you did not find them until the next day? Sometimes my hens won't lay until early evening.
