Multiples of the same post glitch

If you get impatient or if you think your device is not responding and hit the post button over and over this will happen. :)

I do understand multiple posts can happen that way, and it wasn't my own post so not sure what happened, but it was the same post # part of the glitch that caught my attention... and I just went back to check that thread again and since the extra posts were removed there are now 8 posts (made by different members) labeled as post #36...

so, someone fixed it...but I saw it before the fix following your link.

Yes, the original multiple posts has been fixed, but now the multiple posts under one post # is still there, just moved back and now includes posts by multiple members, not just one member...

Honestly, it doesn't seem like a big deal, I just don't know if it is indicative of any other potentially major issues... so just bringing it to attention...

Thanks for reporting this. Since this isn't a global issue (all users) it's specific to possibly a browser, an addon to the browser, a type of device, etc. etc. etc.

So, we'll need to find a way to duplicate the issue in a repeatable way to try and fix it. That being the case, the peeps that have it happen to them need to reply with answers to these questions:

• Are you on a computer, tablet, phone.
• If phone / mobile, which model? If computer, which operating system and version?
• Which browser and version are you using (eg., Chrome 58.0.3029, Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 8, etc.)
• Have you tested a different browser (this helps us isolate if the problem is browser related or not)?
• What EXACTLY did you do? Document the steps you took before having the problem.

So, once we find commonalities between who it is and isn't happening to, we can try to duplicate the problem on our end and fix it.
