mummy to be

That is rather sad. I think that people must just not consider how there actions will effect other people involved, they don't consider that there personal judgments hurt those that love them. Good that your getting closer to the others but your right it's so hard to balance them all. I wish I had more advice but I think I am in the same situation. Did you get to see your dad on your birthday? Just try and hold on to the closeness you all felt and maybe one day everyone will remember it too and you can be a happy family again.

I hope so but one of my bad traits is that I don't let things go/forgive unless people understand what they've done and why I was upset. So I hope they realise one day but they aren't getting any younger.

yeah dad and his gf came over as did my sisters and their bf's.

I'm uploading a video I just took of the ducklings talking and eating peas. I wondered if you could tell what sex the ones are that are making a different noise?

Hahaha!!! What a cute video. Boy are they pretty and growing so big!! So I really only heard the different sound in the beginning and that sounds like a girl, the rusty beginning of a quack! The rest should start doing that soon. how cute!

They like them too much, they are willing to trample on each other to get to them. They love diving fir them in the bath too! Really!? Oh I was so worried it was a boy noise. My adult boy sounds more raspy so thought those ducklings must be boys too. Number 4 is making that noise too and I'm pretty sure no 2 is too. Little lucky is definitely the bottom of the pecking order, he tries to get food but ends up just waiting looking for bits to fall on the floor.

Yeah the peas were frozen but I defrosted first. When they were really little I had to de shell them but now they like them whole! Only the frog munching duck eats the peas out if the big ones. They are really fussy. Guess they have to be brought up on the different stuff to like it when older maybe.

Really sorry I didn't end up scanning anything tonight I ended up snoozing on the bean bag with the duckies. Tomorrow I have a friend for dinner too so may not get a chance then either. Sorry I'm not much use at the moment!

I forgot to ask you the other day when you changed your pic, is that the baby from the goat you were waiting on at Maurice's?

Oh gosh don't worry about the scanning!! Take your time I am in no rush, I'll look through the books I have and try and catch up to where you are in the mean time.

Is Lucky the solid yellow one? Often the boys are less rambunctious and talkative as babies. So no worries, it's a girl sound! Really going to have to get some peas for my ducklings!! AND tonight if I remember I am going to candle the duck eggs I have the broody hen sitting on so my fingers are crossed! Yeah my ducks are super picky too, anything they have not had before they are very cautious about eating. That was a rather comical and all to familiar frog story!

The goat in my picture is actually one of the two little girls that I first helped kid. They are super friendly and I am rather tempted to try and buy them! Nope the expecting goat named Bunny still has had no babies! I'm thinking now that it will be sometime next week, let's just hope she doesn't pop in the mean time! LOL, I wish I had a picture to show you!

Is she huge!? Poor thing. How long are goats pregnant for?

Lucky is the one with a fair bit of yellow and a browny black diamond shape on its back. The yellow one is defo a boy, he was the only one that had a 'thingy' pop out at me, he's way heavier than the others. Would be so amazing if the rest are girls.

What colour do you think the browny ducks will turn out? Think I may have asked you before.

I have been renamed the frog lady as I'm always rescuing frogs! From cats and dogs and now ducks, also generally if they are sat in a stupid place. I love them! I don't reckon mr. froggy will have made it. She was really chucking him around and chomping. It looked unhurt but probably was abit crushed, least I let him die in a slightly peaceful quarter full pond!

Righty oh, bedtime for moi, dont try and catch up too much, I need a refresher session myself! Night night!

Goats are pregnant for about 145 to 155 days, the thing about her is there not entirely positive on when she got pregnant. And huge isn't even the word for it! The poor thing can barely walk! She bagged up with milk though a few weeks ago though so any day now really!

Sorry if you did ask before I think I missed it, the brown will most likely grow up to look like this.

The term for that color is actually chocolate, but I prefer brown. Your yellow ones will probably be white, I bet that will be beautiful! I have a fawn (another fancy name for brown! lol ) and white runner and he is a pretty duck but not very nice to the females so I think he is going to have to go. Your brown ones with white spots, I'm not sure what they will look like, from what I have seen the fawn and whites are born all yellow but not positive. I bet they will be gorgeous no matter what though! Funny though you have one that looks just like a rouen, the one with brown stripes above his eyes. That would be cool if she was a runner with rouen coloring. Sorry I don't know more. Well then Froglady Sleep well and see ya soon!
