Murderous chickens attack & kill crow - is this normal?

Chickens don't attack crows for no reason.That crow was likely after the 2 chicks and it got what was coming to it. Bye bye crow!

Normal chicken behavior. Crows are predators and chickens will kill any predator, given the chance.

The crow might have been trying to kill the chicks or something. I know broody hens and roosters will go after predators but not usually normal hens. Anyway good for them for defending their territory

When I had only 2 hens (no rooster), both of them went broody and raised a bunch of chicks together. They tried to kill my neighbor cats.
I witnessed the dominant hen hiding behind a bush, waiting for the cat to jump the fence, and try to ambush him.
The cats never dared to put a foot in my property again. Sad because I really liked those cats.
