Well the SLW's that Illia has from mcmurray are way nicer that the ones I got from Ideal. Mine are don't even look like wyandottes and tonight as I looked at the Aussies I thought maybe they are just black chickens. Two of the SLW's have single combs. Not sure about the Dels either.
Though I will say that Practical Poultry mag says that sometimes in trying to get show quality some of the laying production quality is lost.

My CM's are too light as are their eggs, my rd friz had black in them, so I wouldnt' buy from Ideal again. Though I will say their chicks were healthy. I traveled 5 or 6 hrs respectively to get better Dels and CM's. And I'm expecting a shipment of hatching eggs from Specklehen.

I'm in Syracuse and selling CM's and Dels that are better than Ideal sold me. Though none of the ones from Speckledhen will be leaving except maybe roos.
