I thought somebody already said that there wasn't a poultry processing place in the area? I doubt any of the city slickers are gunna get out there are do it themselves.

I live in the city and i would go out there and do it. Im not afraid to get dirty or a little blood on my hands. Especially if it ment that they were not going to be gassed and that the meat could be used. Im sure there are plenty of butchers, farmer, ect... that would help with it and donate it all or keep some for there selves to.

If its not government inspected would they take the chance of something becoming contaminated (not saying it would) but they have to cover their butts too. If the donate the meat and someone gets sick they could be in big touble.

but no they would not leave to use the meat! Any meat for public consumption in US and Canada must be processed the government inspected facility. So anyway the meat is still going to go to waste.

and just because you might be willing to get dirty or have a global blood on your hands doesn't mean that most people are willing to. And the publisher doesn't always mean you cull it.a butcher someone who just simply cuts up meat.

The definition of a butcher is ( noun) " A person whose trade is cutting up and selling meat in a shop."

Im sure there are ways of finding out what we would have to do to donate the meat but since we are not allowed to do anything any way there is no sense in anyone even finding out becuase we have already been denied to rescue them or use them.

Theres so many ducks out there, if someone wanted the meat they could go out there and get their own duck

The whole point is that there are much better solutions and the powers that be are just being jackasses and allowing for these creatures to suffer AND be wasted without a really great argument besides "because we can".

If they were re-homed to a farm by OWLS, their wings would be clipped and they would *not* end back up there. Are you thinking they are going to stand out on the road with a "free puppy" sign? This has been thought out quite a bit more...
