We bought 2 Muscovy Ducklings in June and with the luck of the draw we ended up with 2 males. They are a little over 16 Weeks and I am fairly certain they are both males because they both hiss and seem pretty big (although no females to compare).
We would like to find a home for one of the males where he will not be eaten, but will be able to be loved and have other duckie friends.
They are not tame and don't love to be touched, but they are friendly and they will eat out of your hand. They just don't like to be pet or touched very much. They are a bit spoiled since they come inside at night, but they free range during the day and have been fed organic food.
We are also looking to buy a friendly female for our remaining male around the same age. Preferably one used to being around chickens.
We live near JBLM between Olympia and Tacoma.
