Thank you so muchIf the photos of the carruncles are in year old muscovy, they are probably females. Male muscovy by a year old will weight 12 or more pounds weight. They have broad tails that they can fan out, but they don't always famous their tails feathers. They will only be huffing and puffing -- particularly when excited. They will have a full face of carruncles and as they go into their first breeding season may even get carruncles on the back of their neck, sometimes in chevron distribution.
Females will be only 7-8 lbs weight, and will make gurgling sounds not huffing and pugfing when excited. No carruncles on the back of their neck and only outlining their eye ND bill, not full face
