Muscovy ducks and laying eggs

thank you for the advice, i will have to try a few things and see what happens. i feel like my ducks are a little smarter than the chickens... they know whats happening. poor girls, they keep looking for those darn eggs!

Muscovy's are relentless in their pursuit of brooding I have even closed the door so they can't get in and they will hang on the hardware cloth they are so desperate. I had to close up every small place where they could get to inside the fence with hardware cloth it's amazing what they can find.

Hopefully I can get some urgent advice in this thread!

My Muscovy hen went broody on my a few weeks ago, She started a nest under the small duck house. After 10 weeks, enough was enough. Never saw any ducklings, or heard any peeps.
Today I had help moving the duck house so I could get all the rotten eggs out and destroy the nest. Oops! We lifted up the house and found a really irate Mom, and at least 8 babies! There might be more, but we set everything back the way it was.
MY QUESTION: She is apparently barricaded herself and the ducklings in a fort of feathers. She shares a yard with my drake. Is there a good chance the drake will kill the youngin's? At what point should I confiscate the babies and put them in my nursery in my hen house to raise them? Or should I do anything?
