Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Thankfully baby looking much better this morning. Thank you!
Very hard to find non medicated. Will check again today at feed store for a chick starter without meds. Only turkey crumble available in the past. And will ask for chick grit.

Glad to hear that. If they don't have non medicated chick feed ask for an all flock, ducklings can have it and then you can use it for all your flock. I have used Purnia Flock Raiser for hatchlings on up. Just make sure it's crumble.

Have not given chick grit. I have Momma and baby in pen together. (Brood Momma - egg laid at other farm)

I have been feeding for both once a day:

1/2 cup wild bird seed
1/4 cup duck weed in water
I feed romaine lettuce too but baby can't bite that yet. She does love the duck weed.
Did add ground cat food for extra protein-maybe the problem, a couple of days ago a shot glass full, for protein.

Haven't been able to get to feed store for Turkey crumble.

I do have layer mash on hand, but the Muscovies have never seemed to like it so haven't been feeding it

No seeds and oyster shell is for laying birds only, get chick grit I hope it's not too late for this little one, looks like it can't get the feed down and is backed up. Starter crumble is what lil ones need to eat and mamas can have it too. or an All flock crumble it has to be crumble lil ducklings can't process pellets till older.

So happy to hear this. If you feed anything other than chick starter they have to have grit to basically make it go down.
