Sorry, I must be stupid, what is a "hinny" duck?

My Pekin duck started showing me by her quack that she was a she at about 1 month.
A hinny is a backwards mulard. It's what happens when a mallard derived drake catches your muscovy hens. A mulard would be a muscovy drake over mallard derived species.
And you're not stupid according to my book. :)
 
O gees... what I thought was going to be a lavender apparently is a
Red Chested Blue:

A red chest and neck is a defect of color. It means that the bird has some other gene (in mine it's from the faux bronze line or from atipico dusky). Not all red chested blue are blue fawns. Sometimes they are atipico blue.

Aw! Cute name! Wish I could kiss her! :) I love love love scovies. I was going to get some in October, but I just fell in love with calls and hookbills, so I think im getting those instead. Defiantly hanging around here so I can see all those cute duckies though! They really don't look like ducks, do they? More like ChickenXDuck.... A Ducken!

I love love love scovies. I was going to get some in October, but I just fell in love with calls and hookbills, so I think im getting those instead. Defiantly hanging around here so I can see all those cute duckies though! They really don't look like ducks, do they? More like ChickenXDuck.... A Ducken!
