Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Keep an eye on eBay. have seen several Blacks and Blues lately and they were exhibition quality. Also the other online auction sites. Hope you locate some. I may try to add Blacks as well this fall. We are adding Whites...if the eggs hatch. I am trusting a Chocolate Muscovy hen with that task.

I'll keep watching but i have been on ebay and featherauction (only 2 i know about in addition to here). I only ever see the occasional decent white, anything colored is either small or pied.

i think i got rly lucky with these becouse 1st try i got a trio of 2 females and 1 male i also have a chocolate female which my parents say they havent seen in a few weeks i used her to determine that i liked muscovys more then my pekin or malard ducks then she happend to be sitting on eggs when fleamarket came to town so we bought her these 3 ducklings

They are so pretty makes me think of mine with their coloring, Bless you for your service to our country. And what sweet parents for taking such good care of them.

Super excited

today as i have a goose that has gone broody.

I have placed 11 Muscovy eggs under her and two of her own eggs.
I just can´t wait to meet and show you all some pictures.

Going to have to be patient and that's hard. lol I bought my first Muscovy's last year from a farm shop and have fallen in love. I was so lucky that i got one male and the rest female. Now i am going to be able to raise my own.

Do you think your chocolate female may be sitting on eggs somewhere? they are so good at hiding. I hope she is okay.

My chocolate Muscovy, Huggs, has gone broody. I am setting Lavender and lav split under her. I love it when she peeps at me. I like to sit and rub her head when she is broody. What a sweetheart! Her sister, Kisses, has only gone broody once in the last year. She let me pet on her while on the nest, too. My other Muscovy are not nearly so sweet about it.

Soon we all will have lots more photos of Muscovy ducklings on this thread!

So excited for you.. my girl that went broody last year, well more than one went broody but she was the only one I let sit, she would pinch the tar out of me if I tried to touch her or look under her. It's nice to have one that doesn't want to peel you skin off. lol looking forward to seeing little scovies all over this thread. Mine have started laying but no one interested in sitting yet.

thanks, have been watching those sites, must have missed it, and although i adore that breeders stock when i contacted him about them, he informed me that although he sells chicken eggs, he doesn't sell duck eggs. just my luck. if you see another one of those quality auctions can you please send a link my way? I'll keep checking in, but my timing must suck
