I just have to share, my first ever hatch of Muscovy's!! Mom is sliver, Dad is black, looks like I have Blues!! YAY! I also have a blue hen that just started setting this week on her nest.

Oh how sweet pigtail! I just got a young muscovy drake for my girl last week I can't wait until they both grow up so I can get some babies

This is my girl about 2 months ago. Since this pic was taken she has moulted and now has a much whiter head! I'll see if I can get a new pic of her and her baby boyfriend later!

Today i noticed that in the new area that the ducks have been laying there were two eggs covered up with the shavings and quite a few feathers around................i am guessing very soon i am going to be having a broody too. So excited as this will be my first year with females and a drake, so fingers crossed.

I just picked up 9 Muscovy eggs from one nest, my young duck sat on them a little each day and then lost interest. Just finished steaming them for my dogs, found 4 more eggs in another nest I'll leave them for a day or 2 to see if anyone is interested.

Oh no, i hope mine are not just fooling me..............i was hoping that after having 5 females that at least one would go broody on me. finger crossed for both you and me with our lovely ladies. x
