My goodness, how beautiful Love them all.
She won't molt her flight feathers until next year. They don't look bad at all. don't look to be sticking out like a hitch hikers thumb.

Yeah, it's not as bad as some I've seen, thank goodness. She won't get them stuck on everything.

Not yet, I'm letting them settle in a bit before I start handling them.

Thankfully, they were handled a lot at their previous home, so it shouldn't be too much of a chore. I'll take a look a bit later today.

So hard to get a good picture of a white duck, everything blends in!

I've never had the French White just the plain white Muscovy with blue eyes. I had 3 females all solid white they were my first muscovy besides the drake I adopted from the river. They hatched many ducklings but never a solid white.

Oh, if it is angelwing, is it safe to trim the flight feathers?

And I fully expect those black caps to disappear by next year. That's what happened with Sweetie, who had the black on her head too. And both of their parents are whites. Probably 'production' or meat ducks, because these gals are BIG!

If the flight feathers are completely grown in yes trim. It looks to me that she could fly.

No, not yet. I have a small prefab chicken coop that I'll put them in for now, but just need to add the run part to it. I'll be doing this shortly.

I can't count. I have 37 Muscovy now, not 28! No idea where the heck I got that number from...
