Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Hard to believe cant' find any pictures of any and the muscovy color genetic link didn't list it either. So the hunt is on! I like challanges! Now I have a blue and white that also has some chocolate/fawn showing accross her upper back but young yet.

was kind enough to respond to an email asking about calico muscovy.

"Well, I've never seen a Calico Muscovy, for whatever that means"

Soooooooo in addition to throwing out the net in general guess I'll have to try to track down the sources of the muscovy "experts" who have articles that say there are calico out there.

Now in looking at producing calicos in other breeds of poultry mention is made of pieds and splash. I know muscoy have pied gene - don't remember seeing anything about splash. What about fawn and blues? What's behind those - anybody?

Got a good picture of the duck finally yesterday.. i really think her head will go fully white... opinions? eta; aged 4mths as of next weekend for reference.

and simply for fun, i got one of her brothers with her in behind, this duck seems to hate pictures and uses any opportunity to avoid the camera including siblings lol

I thought broody hen poo was bad but Cocoa was off her nest today and left 3 HUGE puddles of grossness behind

She is such a sweet girl, never bites when I try to candle her eggs.. I hope she will be more social after this because I have been taking her feathers from the other birds and setting them in front of her so she can have an even more floofy nest than she has now lol.. Im really surprised she has feathers anymore there are so many in her nest
I have so many babies due this month, its just insane.
