Muscovy keepers share your pics!

So the parents of my 3 scovies have settled in quite nicely & Big papa even squeezes his huge self thru the coop door every night! Too bad for him he doesn't catch on too quick when it comes to water. I have a large above ground pool- it's covered for the winter but has a little water & leaf build up ton top. Well I caught him @ 8:30 AM yest swimming around in it! He was able to fly up & out of the run & up into the pool. I got him out and showed him where the duck pool was.

Later that day he was in it again! Got him out again and warned him he'd have to have his wings clipped if he did it again................(already had one winter cover ruined this yr from a large branch that fell)

less than 30min later he was back in!! So last night he had to get clipped, nothing like wrestling an over 15lb duck with feet as big as my hand spread out!

Here he is in the morning.

He sure is pretty, and that does kinda look like a pond.

He is preferring that because he is searching for bugs in the leaf litter!!! empty pond or pond with food in it... Which would you choose???
