These are my babies. They're approximately 7 weeks old. They were given to me at about 4 weeks old. They didn't know much about them but said they were supposed to be chocolate Muscovy. Its hard to tell on the pictures, but the darker one is quite a bit larger. Hence they are bonnie and clyde. He is also starting to get the blueish shine to the tips of his wings

It's been a slow process gathering the hens i have now and its a terrible pain in the butt trying to find good looking Chocolate hens.

Some do especially if you give them a choice. mine sleep on pine shaving on the floor. always have.

Yeah, mine freerange during the day with my mixed flock of chickens, turkeys, &guineas. They did sleep on the floor of the barn at night, but just this week they are roosting on the rafters like 7 ft high? Maybe they are trying to fit in with the rest of the flock?

Might be lol Muscovy's are tree dwellers and in the wild do sleep in trees and I know of at least one BYC member who's Scovy's roost. Since I have 3 drakes that would never sleep together without causing havoc Mine sleep in stalls

These are my Mascovys mork who is a girl but when we got her we thought she could be a drake

and mindi who is as I am typing this hatching out cayuga eggs

Very pretty Scovy's and there is where your white duckling came from or rather yellow will turn white.
