LOL well my big guy WAS white then went black BUT the rain/snow mix cleared him up yesterday. "Natures bath"

This is Alice she was 9yrs old in July and just doesn't care about her looks like she did when young. I may have to add some bluing to their swim water.

Yep that's how Alice and Shirley bath too unless there's a mud puddle then I'll see them trying to bath in it.

I have bluing in my koi pond to help keep them safe from predators. Duh never thought about it

that's why they look so white after sneaking in there.

Alaskan, they have markings on top of their heads, which I just asked about and was told it is called capping. Not sure why it happens. Both parents are pure white. Here is a better view:
