Understood i am not in the US either, so feeds vary here as well. Glad the link was helpful.

Haha, thanks y`all!
Question: he/she is very hungry and eats a lot! I give lots of chicory and endive, but also mealworms, special duckfood, fruit, and everything he finds himself in the water.
I`m thinking now he`s becoming weak in the legs... Should i give him less? Please some advise...

Muscovy lover, this one is for you...

And this is because i love sharing pics...

When my young drakes get around your ducklings age they seem to lay down a lot when I first noticed it years ago I thought for sure something was going on and was worried, but I really think a lot of it they are growing so fast and have a hard time supporting their weight till their legs get strong. I maybe wrong but it always seems to work itself out. I have only given Niacin supplements in the form of Brewers yeast one time to a duckling and he was raised by me so wasn't out foraging with the rest of the flock. If you can get some brewers yeast maybe give him some on his feed for 2-3 weeks and see if it helps. What I would see in my young drakes is they seem to walk and lay down then get up and do it again where the ducks would be all over the place.

Can everyone vote on the shortest that a pop door for Muscovy can be? I think my drake is a standard size

My pop door for the duck house is 13" X9" it could be a couple inches shorter maybe 11" but needs to be at least that wide.

meant to add my gander goes in and out of this dimension fine.

My door is about 12" tall by 10" wide. It was cut into the coop for chickens but the coop is now occupied by muscovies.
My 3 drakes are HUGE, at least 14-15 pounds, and the jump in and out of it no problem.
If you are going to be making a new door, I would make it a little larger than mine just to give them a little extra jumping room :)

The way I have set it up, there won't be any jumping.

But thanks lots.

I have two more walls to do on my duck coop, I don't like working on this in the cold "brrrrrr" but at least the rest has been finished.
