If none of my ducklings turns out blue, I know where I can find one..there´s a farm about 8 miles away that I passed by the other day, down a long dirt road, and I saw....blues!!! So I´ll be paying a visit, I think! All these pics have really given me an urge!

Lehcar, the best advice I can give is:  Spoil them rotten!  If you've never had Muscovy, they are NOTHING like other poultry.  It's more like owning a dog with wings.  You know how happy dogs jump up on you?  Ya, happy Muscovies have a version of that, it's called flying enthusiastically straight at your head to say good morning.

Truuuuu, but sometimes boys get a little to friendly, I think it's because I raise them and they think I'm a female..... It kinda creeps me out

I have one drake who has to be reminded often that I am not part of his harem, he was the one we had to raise inside when his mama decided she would like to kill him right after hatch. Usually once reminded he is okay for a while till I have to remind him again.

Well my scovies demonstrated that they can fly today. I went out to feed everybody and their pen was empty! Torrential rain actually pulled down the tarp and chicken wire covering part of their pen last night, and they took advantage and flew right out to explore the yard! They weren't very happy about me herding them back in with the help of a long stick, but they didn't put up too much of a fight. I'll have to give them treats later to make up for it.
