@TherryChicken beutiful birds I love the pics!! and @dotporter lol thats so awesome! I dont have the room now I'm just a lil ol' renter with around 16 backyard chickens (if you count the babies) but I have full intention on moving out alot farther next year with a lot more property! I wanted ducks any way so i will definitly keep them in mind! I read my little cochin bantams are supposed to be a much more friendly breed of chicken as well! Im super excited i just hope they dont all grow up to be little boys!

Is that a lavender hen in the back? ohhh, she's pretty... Of course, pepper is a beautiful bird, but... I'm blue obsessed lol. But, but, is she lav?

Well they certainly try to!
Yesterday I happily discovered two nests with over 12 eggs in each... phew! One of the ducks is my neighbour´s, that came over looking for a peaceful place..well, that didn´t work out! Grief, don´t want my neighbour´s ducklings too!!! And the other one is mine..now she has 2 eggs...can manage with that...just hope I haven´t chosen two male eggs!

Ok, just because I was uploading photos anyways, I thought I'd share some of my pictures of Blue.



So, these two are a blue and a silver in the more "Blue" line. The silver doesn't look silver, but it is. It's two genes for blue, just a crappy shade of blue.



These are a blue and a silver from a more charcoal type blue.




These are lavs. Otherwise known as Self Blue.



Then there's blue barred split to ripple, lol.

Yep, it's enough to give you the blues.

What beautiful birds you have. I love the blues too, though I only have one so far... and hoping some of the ducklings will come through blue of some sort. Most of mine are blacks and black pieds and black barred... they´re nice, of course, but those blues.......

No, she's lilac or blue fawn. I have another the same color
