My drakes frost bite never got infected thank goodness but it did scab eventually the scab feel off but he still has a scar on his knobby flesh.

That's good luckily so far all my birds haven't had any

Oh yes most definitely, i strive to breed like pure white heads and i can tell you even when they mate with a black headed duck the babies will be white headed, its called the canizie gene and i think its perfectly beautiful even if its not show quality

What if your drakes caruncling covers his eyes what do you do? I've seen pics of drakes that are crazy and they can hardly see would you cut the flesh off?

and if the bird isn't fully grown how would you tell if it has whitehead?

All my Scovy's but one is white headed.
