Ok thanks for your reply. Do you know any one who sells hatching eggs or ships ducklings from solid colored birds? I got in contact with padgetts and they aren't selling any this year. I have a black hen who is from show stock and I can't find any thing suitable to breed her with. Currently I have her in with my chocolate ripple drake to make split to ripple blacks and chocolates.

Molt? It's the right time of year for it. Mine are starting theirs.

this is first time in my life I have poultry. I don't know much about molting, but from what I found on internet, isn't it too early for them to molt? at least I found out that chickens don't molt young. at what age do muscovies molt?

They appear to be solid however it looks like your female has white flight feather and it looks like she has white feathers on her chest. They are more solid colored than most I've seen. Below is a picture of my hen.

oh she is very pretty, yes, both of mine have white flights and a spot here or there of white.
