Hello Everyone I am new to this group and to raising ducks. We rescued 2 ducks via a post made in a Facebook group some time after Easter in 2015. This is her 3rd batch 13quacklings waiting on 14th.*Nit sure how to navigate within the site yet. I have a few questions just not sure where or how to post.

Hey guys I think my blue Swedish is broody for sure, because when I went out to the nesting boxes in the coop she was in the nest and didn't realy appreciate me being there all too much

I can't wait for ducklings they are going to be Muscovy x Swedish or straight Swedish cause I got some from my friend who also has Swedish and Muscovy but they all could be swedish x Muscovy. I also have a broody Muscovy too.

u won't have baby's from Swedish x muscovy because there sterile

I know but they aren't x yet I have a blue Swedish and a Muscovy that mated and have fertile eggs.

It's possible for the hybrids to mate, just not with other hybrids. Either the crosses have to mate with a Muscovy or a mallard derived breed to have babies, so the hybrid can have babies

I have two Muscovy eggs in the incubator when is a good time to candle? Since they take a longer when can you see the veins and embryo?
