Muscovy Lovers whats your favorite color?

So...

My solid pen #1 has the following:

1 blue drake
1 chocolate duck
1 lilac duck

The resulting ducklings were:

1 blue
1 chocolate
6 lilac-colored (at hatching) but two I kept are now turning a light yellowish and the other one I thought was blue is now turning silverish-lavender-colored???

Blue X Lilac= Silver boys & girls(with boys s/choc), Blue boys and girls(with boys s/choc) and normal boys and girls(with boys s/choc)

Funny I should see this thread...I was just saying to my friend yesterday that the new skovy hatches are really neat this year. They were flying in the pasture and their bodies are white with black but their wings are solid black. They look pretty neat in flight! Here is a shot of them when they were a little younger:

Their Mom is a chocolate and the dad is either white or pied. She had s few more ducklings after these this spring and there was one that looked like it might be chocolate...of course that one disappeared...

Thanks swheat, I'll have to find him a (solid?) blue or chocolate.
I'll post the other two that hatched with him - all males! they were chocolate and black.

Oh WOW!!!! LOVE Blueberry. He is REALLY pretty.

I would be interested in purchasing little ones if you ever get any offspring from him. I have a lavender hen that I would love to mate with one of his.

BTW I wish I had some chocolate ripples they are simply stunning

He is going to be the one I keep for breeding but his momma just hatched out another clutch of 12 with lots of Lavenders!! I am excited to see how they feather in. She has some kind of funky "gene" in her though that causes most of her babies to come out with the weirdest V-marking on the back of their heads.. I have never seen it before until her babies. the last one with the V colored in very very interesting bi-color feathers (one feather would be half black & half white)... so we will see!

The Really weird light yellow color may be Lavenders also, I noticed that my Lavender females are WAY lighter than the males and are taking longer to color in....

Here's a Lavender female, notice how light she is compared to Blueberry in the background (top corner)

Their wings shine purple and green in the sun...just beautiful! I wish I could have gotten them a second sooner...they had their wings out.
Here are the new babies...they will be white I am pretty sure.
